The Kingdom of Blackspire
(Where the Bloody Skeletons Rise Up in the Middle of the Night to Kick Your Ass!!!)

Amtgard is a fantasy and medieval recreational group that was started in El Paso, Texas, in the early eighties. Since then, it has grown to include eleven entire Kingdoms, spanning the United States, and even other countries, such as Germany, Croatia, and Japan!

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have a vast Kingdom known as the 'The Kingdom of the Dark Valley with the Black Spire Where the Bloody Skeletons Rise Up in the Middle of the Night to Kick Your Ass!!!' However, in the time since it was voted in as our Kingdom's name, we have shortened it down to simply, Blackspire.

The Kingdom of Blackspire was formed when two smaller kingdoms, the Valley of the Silver Rains (VSR) and the Kingdom of Mystic Seas decided to merge together, creating one of the largest kingdoms within Amtgard! The Kingdom of Blackspire is centered in Portland, Oregon; however, our borders stretch from Longview (WA) to Eugene (OR), with splinter groups in Seattle (WA), and Spokane (WA).
