Our Campout

In 1993 a land was formed in Longview, WA called The Dark Valley next to the mithril river, beneath the copper hills. The name was changed and the land went through some turmoil, but the people survived. It was for this reason we wished to celebrate our land in 2008. However, it was not to be and so we waited... Until now!

Mithril Hills 15(+) year celebration
When: April 23rd - April 25th
Where: Beacon Rock State Park
Why: To celebrate Amtgard in Longview for 15+ years and the 10 years that we've been Mithril Hills.
Cost: $5 to camp, Daytrip is free (but must be off site at 8)

This site and date was booked a while ago, but I've been waiting for other events to be done before posting the information. Due to needing to book campsites early, we were obviously unable to wait until a calendar was out. It is my hopes that whomever is elected King will be able to work around this one simple request.

There will be no feast, though Mithril Hills will be running a grill and beverage stand all weekend. All those manning the grill will have food handlers cards.

I'll wait to post all of the events we have planned, but we do plan to make this campout not only affordable but amzaing!

Whom is funding this event Is it holding or private funds? I dont care either way, just wantEd to know if thier is anything that I can do to support this.

If I remember correctly, MH voted to produce this event from our coffers a couple of reigns ago.

If you are willing to get a food handlers card, you could help on the grill.

Otherwise Hayu is gonna need some volenteers to make his town scenario stuff work out.

We voted to use some of MH funds to reserve the site, I'm also asking MH for $100 to buy the burgers, dogs, drinks, and chips that we will be selling.

So, short answer, it is being funded and run by MH.
